Swingin' Sunday | Royals Take Series Win vs. Guardians
Seth Lugo took the mound for the Royals in the series finale vs. the Guardians and put on a show. He tossed 6 scoreless innings while giving up four hits, one walk, and striking out ten which earned him his 11th win on the season (leading the MLB). Will Smith tossed a scoreless seventh before Sam Long came in for the eighth where the Guardians picked up two runs. James McArthur took over in the 9th and held the Guardians at bay. Bobby Witt Jr. (3B, RBI, 2R) and Vinnie Pasquantino (RBI, R) both went 3-4 on the day, and Salavdor Perez crushed his 14th homer of the season to add insurance later in the game. Handily the most underrated player today
In a day honoring him he does nothing but praise the city and fans l...what a class act!!
Made me tear up! Miss you BO.
Hope he finds his wanted baseball card mj!
It was a good game for me going to my first and I sat right by the feild
I am satisfied and relieved that this series ended with three wins and one loss. This is because the Royals' batting lineup had been very poor up until that point, and I was worried that they would lose some games. The starting pitchers have been great, and the batting lineup has recovered somewhat. I look forward to seeing him advance into the post game in the future.
You're a content genius
Lugo's curve is just nasty! And bobby witt almost took flight rounding 2nd on that triple! He was absolutely FLYING! and perez has been my favorite royal since bo jackson.. I just love this team!!
great way to end a tough month... lets dominate these next 3. TBAPSB
Okay, real talk: Who is competing with Lugo for the AL Cy Young? He is absolutely untouchable.
This reminds me of the 2014 Royals! Relentless!
Man, it is night & day difference of the royals at home vs on the road
Yesterday was the first Royals game I’ve been to since they cut Bo. The only reason I went was to see Bo get inducted into the Royals HOF
Omg just a good person take his time with the fans God bless you
Went to this game has lots of fun
Bo was the best two sport athletes to ever live just wish he would've played a little longer in the NFL. Just not for the raiders. Go royals and go chiefs!!!!!
i wonder how long it's been since that LF allowed a triple . lollygagger.
Great win!!!
Seth lugo is op
Lugo is nasty
These umps are pretty dang bad today
I have seen only two athletes make the opposing players just giggle with laughter from disbelief and Bo was one of them
Seriously the MLB video editors should take a lesson from this video
Pretty sure they use the MLB highlights
The league notified the umpire crew that those YELLOW things are foul poles. 😂
Frr omg yesterday i was so mad lmao 😭
That was unreal
Bo knows the Royals HOF! Thank you sir 😊
Why does George Brett remind me of Bill Murray 😂❤❤
WDE
The way Bobby was like red stains the units the best and the way Freddie was ok with that🤣 let’s go royals
we need the royals to lose they are a team of swifties
The greatest athlete of my life
This kid was doubt but he was the best player ever congratulations
Did the fans really have to BOO when Ryan Lefebvre mentioned the pro bowl ? I mean get over it that he played for the raiders. he hasn’t played raiders football in like 33 years!
You should post the whole ceremony. I had to record it with my phone while watching on TV because my DVR would’ve cut off in the middle of his speech (in fact it did!)
Bo is a real one 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Bo Jackson is the man.😀👍⚾️
The most amazing athlete my eyes have had the privilege of seeing.
Even though I was a little kid and he didn't play for the Royals for too long he is my favorite Royals player of all time
I never got to see him play in person. My first Royals game was as a “tourist” you could say (from Nebraska) in July 1986, two months before he made his debut. I must have heard about him because I had his dual sports poster on my wall for a couple of years (I was a huge fan of his I guess LOL) and then he got hurt and released. Kirby Puckett poster replaced him on the wall. The only difference is that I got to see Kirby play in person in 1995 at the metrodome, but I got to see Bo in person at the 50th season celebration at Fanfest. I also have two Bo Jackson bobbleheads.
He was a BIG DEAL at the time, if he didn't get injured he would've been king of KC for Brett to pass the torch to
This is awesome! Always loved Bo! ❤🙏
Legend 🙌
Bo Jackson should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame one day. 😀👍⚾️
Bo Jackson is th best athlete of all time!
Congratulations 🎉 well deserved, indeed!
Bo was a childhood hero of mine! Such a great player! Having said that...Bo is a lousy tipper. Chipped me off a whole $2 for dragging 200lbs of luggage and golf clubs out to his car (at the Ritz-Carlton)..the best part was his delivery, "here you go bruh man." Like it was a hundo...I still laugh at it today. Bo don't know tippin'.
Bo had the most amazing raw talent of anyone I've ever seen. Power, arm and speed. Keep in mind he'd only played baseball for a few years before signing with KC. I believe if he had started playing baseball at a younger age and concentrated on it instead of football he might have put up hall of fame numbers.
#1989
Congratulations Bo Jackson! You deserve the Royals Hall of Fame. You created awesome memories for thousands of us baseball fans. I know you were one of my favorites.
Bo knows
Bo, you don't know Diddley. (One of the few advertisements to make me laugh out loud! ua-cam.com/video/VaSdlW1W9yU/v-deo.htmlsi=A8-cXxYZnshm-Dch )
@@ZlothZloth Haha a classic!
I was looking for Me, my Dad and Brother in the LF bleachers from the infamous "Bo Throw" video where he nailed Harold Reynolds at the plate from LF.... but we aren't there b/c it's NOT in KC however we saw him do the SAME THING. Bo caught the bounce off the wall (right in front of us) and fired to home plate from the warning track, Dad had binnocculars and said the throw to home plate was a strike. That was the most coolest thing I ever saw as a little kid. I wish I could remember who the Royals were playing or if there's video
Booby is the cover for 25 definitely
Royals the best team baby
